Residences & events after Simon's death:

1814 Estill Co, KY. Jenny was listed as head of the house on the taxrolls along with Ambrose and Thomas Powell, Simon's brothers.

1820 Wayne Co, IN. Jenny was again head of the house and over 45.Her family included: 4 males 10-15, 1 male 16-18, one male 19-25, 1female under 10. Living in the same county was a James Powell who wasin the same age bracket as Jane, possibly Simon's brother. Alsolisted were a William and Thomas Powell of the younger generation.

Licking Co, OH. Following her marriage to John Van Buskirk, she movedto OH where several of his relatives lived. Some of her childrenmoved with them but most eventually returned to IN and on to the west.
LDS files record her birth date as 5/7/1766. However, the 1772 date
agrees with her age at death.
The cause of death was the result of a fall.
