Notes for Daniel VAN GUNDY

Daniel was a railroad man.

Residences and other events:

1850 Naple P.O., Scott Co, IL. He was listed as a railroad brakemanwith $100 in personal property in the census.

1860 Naples. He was at the same address with the same $100 worth ofpersonal property at census time.

1870 Springfield, Sangamon Co, IL. His family was living with a Johnand Catherine Miller according to the census and Daniel was then abaggagemaster with the railroad.

1880 1131 12th St, Springfield, IL was his address at census time andhe was still a baggagemaster.
A sketch about the family of sister, Nancy Merris, omitted him as aliving sibling.
