1846 Tower Hill, Cold Spring Twp, Shelby Co, IL

1850 Wakefield Dist, Shelby Co, IL, where his property = $800 in the
census. He was living with his second wife and 2 small daughters from
the first marriage.

1860 Shelby Co, IL. By the time of the census, his property had
grown to $6000/1150, still occupied as a farmer. Josiah Roberts, 21,
was living with them as a farm hand.
