Notes for Joyce POWELL

She was charged, in her husband's will, with raising hergranddaughter, Joyce Riddle, Sally's illegitimate daughter.
Her death was probably the cause of the lawsuit brought by son,William, against the administrators of his father's estate in 1784. Hehad been promised certain property after his mother's death.
