Residences:

1870 Paradise Twp, Coles Co, IL. He was a farmer in the census butno property was listed.

1873 Sumper Twp, Majority Point, Cumberland Co, IL. According to thenewspaper report Hiram and his father were Legal Voters.
Hiram's birthplace depends on which census is being read, one says
Tennessee, another says Pennsylvania.
He died of old age and was a widower at the time.
