Please note. This site has been significantly reformatted. I will be putting up the Van Gundy Family Tree in several different web formats (this one created by GEDPage). You can then decide which format you prefer to use to search the tree. Please be patient as this takes some time to put together for Web Publishing and then uploading of thousands of web pages.

Notes for Albert BROSHEARS

He apparently never married and probably remained at home w/his
mother.
Albert's will stated:

"In the name of God, In the county of Bracken, and the great State of
Kentucky, Know all men by these presents, whereas I am confined to my
bed with sickness and disease and know not whether I will ever recover
or not, having a wish to make a disposition of my estate, which I do
in the following manner. I bequeath all of my estate to my Sister
Sophia Workman and William Workman her husband which the said William
Workman is to put the money out on interest and the interest is to go
to support my mother Nancy Broshears, as William Workman thinks she
needs it. And furthermore I leave William Workman my administration
of my estate without giving security, and after my death I want all of
my debts paid and my burial expenses. This is my last will and
testament. Whereas I set my hand and seal this the 25th day of
September 1851.
Albert Broshurs"

Witnesses were: John B Blythe, Wm A Moore, Enoch Iones, and John H
