Notes for Jacob Benjamin PARKER

Ben was named for both grandfather's and his father.

1896 Dora Twp, Moultrie Co, IL. Under the Democratic ticket he waselected Pound Master (duties unknown) along with John Hughes.

1910 E Nelson Twp, Moultrie Co, IL. At census time he was head ofthe household but had no family other than his mother and niece,Jennie Mack, living with him. Neighbors were Galbreaths and Clarkfamilies.
Birth records of his son in 1886 have Jacob's age as 33, making hisbirth year 1853.
He was in the 1910 census.
