Bef 1831 McMinn Co, TN was where the census taker found his family.Children, David and Hannah, were born there.

1836 IN The family moved before daughter, Lucinda, was born.

1838, Vigo Co, IN, where son John was born.

1840 Dearborn Co, IN. The census taker listed the only WilliamArthur there. Whether it is this man or another is uncertainconsidering son John was born in Vigo Co.

1840 Clark Co, IL. Son Joseph was born there that year.

1850 Clear Creek Pct, Clark Co, IL. At census time all the childrenwere listed correctly except 12 year old John was then only 6 (?).William was a farmer but no property was recorded.

William was listed in the 1850 census.
