1849 Fayette Co, IN was where he and Jane married.

1855 Jasper Co, IL. A note written into the cemetery records stateshe and Jane arrived this date.

George remarried 10 months after Jane's death and had 4 more children.

His biography says that he "now owns and occupies a fine farm of 400cres, and as good a house as there is in the township. He is ageneral farmer, and deals in stock quite extensively. In politics heis a Republican, and was a true friend to the soldier of the latewar.....Mr. Conner and wife are both members of the Christian Church,and are very highly esteemed by all who know them."
