1850 Lower Okaw Prct, Coles Co, IL. Now orphaned, he and brother,John, were living with their uncle, John Whitley, at census time.

1860 Coles Co, IL. He and brother, John, were living with their auntMinda Price. Probably because uncle John's family was growing.

1870 N Okaw Twp, Coles Co, IL. He was married with small childrenand had property listed at $2500/600. Brother, John, at 26, wasliving with them. He was a farmer and just down the road were theDailys and Whitleys.

Elizabeth was listed as a widow in the 1900 census.
