Notes for James SCOBEY

He is recorded here purely from speculation until furtherinvestigation. It is assumed that since John Scoby's first son wasnamed James in honor of the grandfather. Also if the family migratedvia waterways, James and 2 other sons may have stayed in Crawford Cowhile John forged on to Monroe Co.

Residences & events:

1820 Crawford Co, IL. His family, the only Scobys in the county,consisted of 3 males over 21 at census time. Newlands lived on eitherside of them.
