They are placed here because of the proximity oftheir residences but several of them recorded Ireland as theirmother's birthplace while Nathan was the only to say MD. Vincent andJohn were the only two actually listed in the household with him andAnn.

1860 His whereabouts this year is unknown but he was not in IL withthe rest of the family yet.

2/18/1869 N Okaw Twp, Coles Co, IL. He gave estray notice for a cow,Jesse Ellis was the serving Justice. (This item may not belong tohim, the notice has only E for the first name.)

1870 Newman Twp, Douglas Co, IL. At census time he was a farmer withproperty = $500/100. He and Ann had 2 sons at home and next door wasson James and family.
