Residences & events:

1850 Richland Pct, Clark Co, IL. At census time he and Charlottelived 2 doors down from daughter, Rebecca, and her family. He was afarmer with $800 in property. Living with them as 12 year oldHarrison Bennet, probably a grandchild. The neighbors, the Pettengerfamily, was probably another daughter, Eliza, as their family had allthe same names.

1860 Westfield, Clark Co, IL. Probably the geographical lines hadshifted rather than the entire family moving as they still lived onlya few doors apart. Having lost his wife, John, at age 81, had livingwith him, the John Devorire family, possibly another daughter.
