Residences & events:

1870 Newman Twp, Douglas Co, IL. The census taker recorded him as afarmer with property = $300/200 with 2 children. Next door was thefamily of EM Chilcote and 2 doors down was brother, James.

1880 Same residence as above. He was still a farmer and the familyhad grown by 1 child.
The 1870 census records his age as 35 making his birth year 1835.
His will was dated 1/25/1900 and mentioned his wife, sons, James andGeorge, and daughter, Arminda. Witnesses were Spencer Fonner, AmosShaw and Frank J England.
