1818 Hardin Co, KY where he married Candis.

1823 Wayne Co, IL, where son, Jefferson, was born.

1828 "He began preaching and continued doing so the rest of his life,being a member of the old Regular Baptist church. In politics he wasa democrat."

1829 Greene Co, IL, where he settled on the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of S33, which he entered and stayed until his death.

1860 Greenfield, Greene Co, IL, was his address at census time. Alsoliving in Greenfield were G W, 2 Johns, John W, M L, and Margaret.
He died of smallpox "that dreadful disease."
