Early 1800s Jefferson Co, AL, per other family researchers.

1850 Vienna Twp, Scott Co, IN. He and Polly still had 2 children athome. Josiah was a farmer with property = $1000. Next door was sonJosiah and family, daughter Mary Ann Crum was just down the road.

Another descendant said the 1850 census taker recorded Nancy andJosiah Daily, children of John and Betsy Maguire Daily, as living withJosiah in New Albany, Floyd Co, IN but in view of the previous item,that could not be correct.

1860 Vienna Twp, Scott Co, IN, was still his residence at the nextcensus.

Aft 1860 Coles Co, IL. He apparently moved to be nearer hisdaughters in his old age.
His birth and death dates don't agree if he was 70 yrs, 5 mo, and 4 dold at death. Which is incorrect?
