1850 Richland Pct, Clark Co, IL. The census taker found his familyliving 2 doors down from sister, Rebecca Davis, and 4 doors from hisparents. He as a farmer with $1200 in property. The family consistedof several children including a couple that were probably married,i.e. James and Sarah, both 21, but born in different states and the 4year old girl was probably their daughter.

1860 Westfield Twp, Clark Co, IL. He still lived 2 doors down fromRebecca's family so perhaps they never moved, only geographical linesshifted. His property had grown to $5000/800 and living there was anAnn Stilwell, 12, born in OH, a granddaughter perhaps. Between himand the Davises was Basil Bennett, possibly a son. On the other sidewas son, James.
