1860 Westfield Twp, Clark Co, IL. At census time he was a farmer with property = $1600/800 and son, John, 32, was still at home. The child, Sarah A, may have been John's daughter. Most of the neighbors were Bennetts.
1870 Same residence. He and Rebecca lived next door to son, Joshua, at census time. Francis was still a farmer and his property had grown to $3000/200.
Rebecca was a widow by 1880.
Rebecca Bennett [Parents] was born in 1807 in KY. She married Francis Davis on 12 Jan 1824 in Shelby Co, KY.
In the 1880 census of Clark Co, IL, she was listed as a widow. Living with her were son, AH, at 21 and a boarder, Park Morgan, 17.
Son, Josephus, told the 1880 census taker his mother was born in IN.

Living with them as 12 year old Harrison Bennet, probably a grandchild. The neighbors, the Pettenger family, was probably another daughter, Eliza, as their family had all the same names.
1860 Westfield, Clark Co, IL. Probably the geographical lines had shifted rather than the entire family moving as they still lived only a few doors apart. Having lost his wife, John, at age 81, had living with him, the John Devorire family, possibly another daughter.
