TX. Family tradition says that Christopher, accompanied by son Abraham and his wife, migrated to be near other relatives already there. To pay for the trip they took a boatload of supplies such as pork and lard to New Orleans to sell. Following Christopher's death, Abraham and his family returned to MO.
Family tradition says he died enroute to TX with son, Abraham, but his will was probated in St Charles, MO.
